I find this course very informative, motivating and inspiring! We studied online, but the atmosphere was the same as in the classroom. Amazing!

I would absolutely recommend the course to anyone who is considering working within the industry and needs that support in knowing where to start.

As someone brand new to the industry, the stories and information that they were able to provide was invaluable!

The course helped me massively in terms of understanding how this industry works. It also covered so many topics I would never have thought of like sorting out taxes and on set lingo. I did get some work experience on a set a few weeks ago and I remember receiving the call sheet for that and thinking what on earth does half of this mean, so having someone go through each section has helped a great deal.

I loved this course, I am so glad I went on it. It covered so many topics and they were long days full of information but it was completely worth it for the amount I learned. I know it will all come in very useful when I get my first job.

I honestly thought the course was brilliant with the right amount of listening versus participation and I thought waiting to do the "whats your ideal job and what have you done before" until the second day the best it could have been. It was lovely hearing the ins and outs from 2 industry professionals (and lovely people to boot!)

This course gave more information, advice and insight than you could possibly collect in weeks or months on a live set or production. It affirmed my decision to pursue a career in the screen industry.

Huge amounts of invaluable insights that I would never have got anywhere else in quite the same way. Tales of first hand experiences and dos and dont's that you wouldn't normally learn without getting your foot in the door yourself first.

The course was extremely informative and helpful in breaking down the details of working in TV in Film in all areas and departments. Both Tracey and Mary have been in touch since the course and are excellent industry contacts to have on had for questions and support! The best thing for me on this course was how encouraging it was, I've sought similar support previously and been disappointed at how discouraging the advice seemed. This course did not hide from the fact that this can be a difficult career path, but did not use that to discourage and instead offered tools and information to make the choice to follow this path a bit easier.

Thank you so much for this course; it's been incredibly insightful and informative (I've nearly filled up a notebook with all your hints and tips!). The clear information and sheer wealth of knowledge shared has instilled a new sense of inspiration and confidence in me to apply for roles in Film and TV as I feel I have a far better understanding of the industry now than when I did two days ago before taking this course.

Just wanted to say thank you for today’s sessions! It’s already been incredibly helpful, and I’ve absorbed so much information in just one day, I’m very much looking forward to tomorrow! I especially wanted to say how useful I found the session with Andrew; what he said really resonated with me and I found it incredibly helpful to hear reassurance and insight into impact of that first impression and meeting. Lucy brought up a really crucial point about imposter syndrome that I think is something a lot of people just starting out suffer from and he addressed it really well and in such a helpful way!

I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend experience. It was very informative and helpful. Not only did you give an in-depth insight to the industry, but also the very personal accounts of what to expect - it is these golden nuggets that made the workshop all the more enjoyable and engaging. It has been a very thought-provoking couple of days and I thank you for igniting a renewed vigour and excitement for my career in the future. I shall continue to work on my brand and online presence, including editing the waffle on my out-dated C.V. Mary's lector on this was very helpful. Thank you all once again for your time, knowledge and experience but most of all your kind and friendly natures. I hope our paths cross in the future.
