Mary’s career started in the design department at BBC Television in the early 80s and since then she has worked around the world including Stonehenge: Decoded for National Geographic; produced 24 episodes of the award-winning drama series Bishaash in Bangladesh; 30 episodes of Taste of Life for BBC Media Action in Cambodia and the award-winning documentary Ice Bear.
She has recently produced series one and 2 of London Kills for Acorn TV in the US and is in development with series 3 and 4 alongside a new contemporary drama series for BBC Daytime.
Tracey’s career started as a wardrobe operative at the BBC in the late 1980s, progressing through to costume supervisor for “Stella” and “The Turn of the Screw” until she reached her goal of Costume Designer on “Murder Investigation Team” and “Crime Stories”.
She was the Series Costume Designer for “Casualty” and Head of Costume for Talkback Thames “The Bill” when they were awarded Best Soap and Continuing Drama at their respective BAFTAs.
Tracey has always been passionate about nurturing and training crew and she set up Set Etiquette to provide training and support for the next generation of film and television personnel.
She has project managed the ScreenSkills’ First Break scheme for Amazon Studios and Hartswood Films on “The Devils Hour series one and 2” and series one of “Inside Man”.
Tracey is a BAFTA member and has been on the judging panels for the costume craft awards in both London and BAFTA Cymru.
We are delighted to announce that Andrew Minns has agreed to join us as one of our course leaders. With over 25 years’ experience in coaching and mentoring, Andrew’s 90 min session will be incorporated into this 2-day course.
